Ron has been a railfan since childhood and an N scale modeler for 30 years. His current layout–the Texas Colorado & Western–depicts a protolanced version of BNSF operations over the Wichita Falls Subdivision in North Texas and into the Rocky Mountains circa 2008. Ron believes in capturing the flavor of real railroading while maintaining the fun of model building and operations.
